The complete statistics for the February 2007 Bar Exam are now available. USF had its highest number of February first-time takers since at least before February 2002. Generally, the number has hovered around 15 to 18; in February 2007, it was 22. Of those 22, 15 passed, for a 68% passage rate. These numbers are small enough not to have much of an influence on the year's numbers.
Of those schools teetering on the edge with the proposed new ABA standard interpretation 301-6, February 2007 doesn't tell us much. There are generally fewer takers in February, and they often have much better numbers than the July takers. However, Golden Gate hit 68%, which is a very good February for them. But Western State at 17% and Whittier at 35% didn't see that surge.
