Registration? Check.

Well, that was easy. On Tuesday, I logged in for my priority appointment as a 4th year evening student. Today, I logged in for my priority appointment as a 4th year student, which was also the same appointment for 3rd year students.

It was fun to see the class count, to know which of my classes were popular. Answer: some more than others.

I got everything I currently think I want. I'm still playing with ideas.

Thumbs up for online registration.

Big registration changes coming at USF

Details are still coming, and <strike>from what I can tell, still no schedules yet</strike> schedules for fall and spring are there. However, details of the new registration scheme have been posted. I assume an email will be coming soon.

Short story: we apparently register online in phases based on our priorities. Registration is done via USFConnect.

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon just before online registration occurred (we had to run from department to department with add/drop forms for each class.) As such, this will be my first time ever registering for university courses electronically. (I don't count submission of the XML output from Acrobat Reader as electronic registration.)

No wonder it's taken them a while to get the information out.

Still no word on 2007-2008 schedules

We still don't have our class schedules for the 2007-2008 school year. Am I too impatient about some of these things? Maybe. There's a certain sense of comfort it gives me, knowing what's available and trying to figure out what I'll be able to wedge into my schedule.

Last week, I wrote that they should be out any day. I said that based on last year and the year before, which indicated last week was the week. It wasn't.

Now, of course, I'm hoping they come this week. 19 units to go, and I want to know how I'm going to be able to fill them.

Schedules should be out any day now.

If the registrar's office of the last two summers follows, we should see the schedule for the fall and tentative schedule for the spring -- finishing out my law school career -- any day now.

For whatever reason, I always feel a little more comfortable when my schedule is all worked out.
