First book for fall arrived today

I'll kick myself if I've jumped too soon; however, the bookstore lists some of the books required for my fall classes, so I started my routine online hunt for cheap-but-new copies. I haven't gone so insane as to analyze my pricing like this again. Partly, that's because there hasn't been the opportunity, either because I didn't have many books to buy or because I was flooded with new editions. Last semester, I didn't even think about books until the last minute, which created problems.

The book that came today was $30 cheaper new than the bookstore's used price. The books that should arrive tomorrow are new, but they're not more than about $10 more expensive than the bookstore's used prices.

Now, it's just a matter of waiting for first assignments.
